Keeneland!

On April 24th, closing day, I went to Keeneland! The girls from work decided it was going to be "girl's day", we took off the day, the company paid for our tickets, and we headed to Keeneland. We had a fantastic time. The weather was amazing, we had some drinks, placed some bets and checked out the scene. I placed 3 bets and won two! Of course, it was a $2.00 bet on the long shot - Skim Scam, and a $5.00 bet on Papa. All together I won $6.00, and it was so fun!

Lexington Legends!

We went to see the Lexington Legends baseball team a few weeks ago! We had a fantastic time. Ali had never been to a baseball game, and she loved it! They are a farm team for the Houston Astros. Here is Ali, notice the Red Sox hat and shirt. My baby!!

Here she is playing a game, trying to hit a run.

Since it is a minor league team, there are all kinds if things going on during the game. This was one of the best. A bunch of fruit and a big hand came out. Only problem, the big hand couldn't seem to keep all of the fingers up. It was fantastic!

We really liked this house. Since my camera died, we have no pics of the downstairs family toom with fire place or the upstairs family room. It needs a lot of work, but it is all cosmetic work needed. We love the one we are hopefully looking at tomorrow. I will try to post all about it when we are done.
